Maharashtra Maritime Board participated in the Exhibition organized by Government of Maharashtra on 1st May, 2010 to 3rd May, 2010 at Shivaji Park.
The said exhibition was organized on the occasion of Golden Jubilee year of Maharashtra.
Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in association with Maharashtra Maritime Board organized Conference on “Ports of Maharashtra – Gateway to India “ on 30th April, 2010 at Hotel Taj President, Cuffe Parade, Colaba, Mumbai.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Ashokrao Chavan inaugurated the conference & Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Minister for Transport & Ports Government of Maharashtra also addressed the conference.
Port Developers and Experts participated in the conference in a large number and an exhibition was also organized to showcase the upcoming port projects in Maharashtra.
Maharashtra Maritime Board participated in 'Cargo Shop 2010 - An International Expo' at World Trade Centre in Mumbai, on 25th March, 2010 to 27th March 2010.
The Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Belgium has inaugurated the EXPO & visited the stall of MMB inside the Expo.
Maharashtra Maritime Board organized Training Programme at YASHADA PUNE for their Asst. Port Inspectors and Port Inspectors who are the grass root level Officers of Maharashtra Maritime Board.
The 105 officers participated in this training programme in the 4 batches during the period of February 2010 to March 2010

The 54th Board Meeting was held on the 25th February 2010 under the Chairmanship of Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil Hon. Minister of Ports, Govt. of Maharashtra/ Chairman Maharashtra Maritime Board, at Sahyadri guest house Mumbai.
